Operations Manager

Location: Store 00018 Chappaqua NY-Chappaqua, NY 10514. Position Type: Regular/Full time. Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.25 per hour USD. Responsibilities Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences. Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships. Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including clientelling/outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards. Partner with the Manager to lead the team with ownership in all areas of operations. Plan, execute and lead floor sets, window displays, interior marketing, recalls, markdowns, etc. Educate, train and reinforce brand standards as well as company policies and procedures. Understand operational and selling balance, plan and schedule tasks to meet business needs. Maintain knowledge of business, competitive landscape, fashion trends, and key business drivers to identify sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and local, state, and federal employment laws. Develop and maintain positive working relationships to support a productive work environment. Qualifications Experience level: Two or more years specialty retail with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising. Model of professionalism with strong work ethic, integrity, and respect for others. Customer‑centric, understanding the importance of exceptional service in growing store sales. Educator, coach and mentor who inspires associates based on individual strengths. Organized and strategic with independent decision‑making ability; can work in fast‑paced and changing environment. Clear communicator of business‑related information and brand initiatives. Ambitious, enthusiastic, friendly, and cooperative in a diverse environment. Technological aptitude to navigate, coach and train POS, iPad and handheld systems. Physical capability: comfortable climbing ladders, moving regularly, standing for extended periods; able to bend, reach, stretch and lift at least 40 lbs. Flexible schedule availability, including opening/closing shifts, weekends and holidays. Open availability for 40 hours per week.
