Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment. Monitor patient status; administer medications and treatments as ordered; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Assess and plan care, develop and update care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals. Maintain patient safety, adhere to policies, ensure infection control practices, and contribute to quality improvement. Communicate effectively with patients and families; provide education and discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility for CA licensure) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Prior behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience preferred Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred
