Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pharmacy Operations Manager role is available at a major medical center in Owasso, OK. This position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital environment, focusing on clinical care, staff development, and operational excellence.

Location: Owasso, OK
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 8 hours per day, with additional coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed.
• Manage inventory control and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and support clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel.
• Assist in pharmacy management during absences of the Pharmacy Director.
• Develop and implement educational initiatives within the pharmacy team.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the relevant State Board of Pharmacy.
• Compliance with state-specific requirements such as sterile compounding.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy operations specialist.
• Prior hospital pharmacy management experience.
• ALS/ACLS certification.
