Search Solution Group is seeking a General Manager on behalf of our client, an indoor entertainment park. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, safety, profitability, and overall guest experience of the entertainment facility. This leadership role ensures operational excellence through staff management, customer service, financial oversight, community engagement, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. The ideal candidate is an energetic and organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for guests and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of the entertainment park and maintain compliance with all safety procedures
- Oversee all daily park operations to support profitability, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
- Handle customer service concerns professionally and effectively
- Promote a safe and positive environment for guests and employees
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop park staff
- Conduct employee orientation, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary
- Ensure all employees remain knowledgeable on products, promotions, services, and operational procedures
- Manage employee scheduling and staffing levels to support operational needs
- Supervise staff performance and maintain professional workplace standards
- Develop Assistant Managers through continued mentorship and increased leadership responsibilities
- Manage park operating budgets and maintain accountability for expenses
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements and submit weekly financial reports
- Collaborate with District Management to establish marketing and sales goals
- Support local marketing initiatives, community outreach, fundraisers, birthday parties, and corporate events
- Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, schools, and community organizations
- Oversee inventory and ordering of operational supplies and materials
- Manage charitable donation requests and donation tracking processes
- Ensure proper maintenance of facility equipment, attractions, and overall park cleanliness
- Work with Human Resources to address employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with business licensing requirements and state regulations
- Support and uphold all company policies, procedures, and operational initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Recreation, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of management or leadership experience
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, recreation, retail, or customer service environments preferred
- Experience managing teams, schedules, budgets, and customer service operations
- Experience with event coordination, sales, or community engagement initiatives preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer proficiency including Google G-Suite
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- First Aid and CPR certification required
- Understanding of operational safety procedures and risk management practices
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting processes
- Familiarity with employee development and performance management practices
- Understanding of customer service best practices and event coordination
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and operational procedures
- Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate teams
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Accountability and ownership of operational performance
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist within park attractions when necessary
