Description

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy strategies that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Guide and educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, plans for discharge, and home exercise regimens
  • Maintain meticulous records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to provide cohesive care

Education

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a recognized program or equivalent degree

Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferably hold CPR certification
  • Additional certifications in specialties (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are a plus but not mandatory

Skills

  • Previous clinical experience is highly valuable
  • Ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Proficiency with digital documentation and clinical systems
