Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Production Control Planner that would prepare, issue and control production schedules and help plan material for production builds. Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with material planners in regard to material requirements, which would ensure a controlled flow of approved products, in time to meet customer requirements, contractual demands and manufacturing build plans. This job will require you to advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems. You will need to work closely with quality - to ensure that any non-conforming product is controlled; test - to ensure product is lined up to meet dates, and programs for any contractual commitments. The position would require you to work under general supervision and help as needed to develop solutions for problems and/or recovery plans as they arise. The position would require equal time performing stationary office work and locating/tracking products on the manufacturing floor. The ability to communicate and exchange written and verbal information clearly is key. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate's degree or 4 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain professional and effective relationships with internal/external customers
- Bachelors degree or 2-4 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Material planning, Forecasting, MRP experience a Plus
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Oracle knowledge
- Data Analysis Skills
- Knowledge of engineering changes
Full-Time Salary Range: $61278 - $104173 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
