Role Description The Brand Ambassador role is a temporary, on-site position based in Iowa City, IA. Brand Ambassadors will represent client brands during live events, activations, and promotional programs, engaging attendees, answering questions, and sharing key brand messages clearly and enthusiastically. Day-to-day responsibilities may include greeting guests, assisting with check-in or registration, distributing samples or materials, supporting interactive brand experiences, and maintaining a polished, professional presence throughout each shift. Ambassadors will follow event guidelines, collaborate with onsite leads and team members, and provide feedback or reporting as requested to help improve future activations. This role may involve evening and weekend hours depending on event schedules. Qualifications Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and customer service skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in a friendly and professional manner. Experience in live events, promotions, hospitality, retail, or experiential marketing, with comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow event instructions, adapt to onsite changes, and work collaboratively with production and talent teams. Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with premium and luxury brand standards, including attention to detail in presentation and communication. Ability to stand for extended periods, move event materials as needed, and comply with all onsite safety and conduct guidelines. Familiarity with social media, basic tech tools (e.g., tablets, event apps, check-in systems), and comfort learning new event platforms. Prior brand ambassador or experiential staffing experience is preferred but not required; interest in events, marketing, fashion, or entertainment is a plus.
