Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Project Manager

About Us: Landmark Excavating, a premier Excavating company based in American Fork, UT, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our thriving team.
Specializing in a wide array of projects, including Public Work, UDOT Roadways, Private Roadways, Residential Subdivisions, City Parks, and underground Utilities, we take pride in our statewide presence and commitment to excellence. With ongoing projects in Salt Lake County, Wasatch County, Utah County, and Washington County, we offer not only exciting opportunities but also a fantastic family-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- HCSS and CPM scheduling Experience: Essential for success in our fast-paced environment.
- 10+ Years in Heavy Civil Construction: Demonstrating a solid foundation in the industry.
- Self-Motivated and Hardworking: We value individuals who take initiative and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Experience Managing Employees: A proven track record of leadership.
- Underground Utilities Experience: A crucial aspect of our diverse project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary for timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on project status.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of construction processes and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective time management and task prioritization.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
