As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
