\tPatient Volume: 36,000

\tSpecialties: 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center

\tCoverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month | 12-hour mid-level coverage

\tNumber of Beds: 35 ER beds

\tAcuity: Medium

\tEMR: Meditech with Dragon

\tICU: Yes

\tAdmissions/Transfers: 14% admission rate

Qualifications

\tLicensure: Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)

\tBoard Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible ABEM, ABIM, ABFM

\tExperience: Prior EM experience required

\tSkills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility

\tBadges: ATLS, BLS, PALS

\tAbout Lake Regional Health System: Lake Regional Health System is a 500,000 square foot, 116-bed hospital that is designated by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center. The facility features private patient rooms, a large outpatient department and a 35-bed ED. The ED is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center. The facility also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center. Lake Regional Health System is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.
