Key Responsibilities

• Implement care plans and treatment modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist, ensuring the highest standards of technical competence.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises tailored to their individual needs, effectively guiding them to maximize their functional abilities.
• Provide compassionate support, actively listening to patients' concerns and adapting treatments to meet their emotional and physical needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments and recommendations to treatment plans to promote safety and efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our facility, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or rehabilitating after injury. Qualifications

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA) is required.
• Current licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
