Job Description:

Polysport USA is seeking a driven and competitive Pre-Sales Coordinator to support our expanding sports surfacing operations. This role is about far more than surface calculations and quantity takeoffs - those are the easy part. We are looking for someone who is constantly thinking about how to win work, build relationships, identify new opportunities, and help our team secure more projects.

This position will be responsible for preparing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for athletic construction projects, including running tracks, tennis courts, and other specialized athletic surfaces.

The Pre-Sales Coordinator will analyze construction documents, coordinate with subcontractors, help develop competitive bids, and actively support business development efforts by identifying projects, meeting with general contractors, and representing Polysport USA in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to ensure complete scope coverage and pricing accuracy.
• Search for and identify new project opportunities on a daily basis.
• Help assemble competitive, strategic bids for management review and approval.
• Solicit, level, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Submit RFIs and clarifications as needed to fully understand project scope and reduce risk.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and bid openings when required.
• Collaborate with management, operations, and project teams to ensure a smooth transition from awarded work to execution.
• Maintain organized estimating files, bid documents, and supporting records.
• Support pre-construction planning, early scheduling discussions, and value engineering efforts where appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, preferably with athletic facilities, sitework, or sports surfacing-related projects.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and pursue opportunities at the same time.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and business development efforts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools is a plus.
