Our client is seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Group Leader, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.

What you'll be doing...

• Effectively utilize personnel, materials, and equipment to achieve operational goals.
• Participate in the training, development, and evaluation of team members.
• Lead high-impact teams and support launch and pilot activities.
• Ensure production cost schedules are met and quality requirements are maintained.
• Maintain awareness and communication of quality standards, utilizing resources to resolve quality issues.
• Foster positive working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management.
• Administer agreements between management and labor unions effectively and consistently.
• Promote safe work practices with a focus on ergonomics, health, and safety.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to achieve production schedules, control costs, and improve productivity.
• Analyze and respond to manufacturing plans, making operational adjustments as needed.
• Coach, teach, counsel, and mentor team leaders and members.
• Manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

The right person has...

• Experience in managing and leading teams while addressing performance concerns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• High analytical ability for solving complex problems.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and email.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including availability on weekends.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
• Military background is considered a plus.
• Preferred qualifications in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with supply chain or quality management and implementing build-in-quality initiatives.
