Production Supervisor (H/F) - NORTHWEST AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

Mission Northwest Aerospace Technologies (NAT), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers. The Production Supervisor partners with the production manager to lead, teach, coach and mentor operations personnel. This role leads 2–10 employees in the production process. The Supervisor will promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes, and is expected to build and fabricate parts while also maintaining their leadership responsibilities of the team. Key Responsibilities Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of effective production department planning, policies, and procedures: assist the Production Manager in developing short‑ and long‑term goals; participate in developing department policies and procedures; conduct periodic reviews. Ensure efficient, timely, and accurate completion of production functions: build, fabricate and repair parts; build first article and initial production runs of highest‑complexity parts; oversee production and assembly processes; supervise assembly, inspection, and shipment of products; monitor and supervise production quality and inspection of products; identify problems and resolve them quickly and effectively. Regulate workflow to ensure maximum production capacity; monitor floor production schedule to ensure that products are completed on time and meet established production, safety, and quality standards. Effectively supervise personnel: provide leadership through goal setting, delegation, and communication; direct and assign personnel; train, advise, and counsel employees on current production methods; provide suggestions to improve performance and productivity; contribute to personnel decisions and performance appraisals. Maintain effective communication, coordination, and working relations within the company; provide input and feedback for operational procedure changes and DFMA improvements; keep management informed about area activities and significant problems; support feedback into Make/Buy decisions. Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience (+2 years). Knowledge: Strong understanding of production procedures, standards, and knowledge of Quality Control Standards and systems. Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, plus minimum 1 year of leadership experience. Computer Skills: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, ERP system. Other Skills: Well organized, planning and time‑management skills, quality oriented, problem‑solving; ability to lead teams, conduct meetings, give direction/delegate, and train/coach/mentor employees. Preferred (not required): Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of experience in manufacturing; 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
