This role is pivotal in maintaining and controlling the financial health of our company. You will be directly responsible for project accounting, year-end close, fixed assets, and reconciling. You will also be tasked with handling foreign currency transactions, managing A/R and ledger, and preparing financial statements. Why join us? Perform financial analysis, reporting and management activities to ensure that the company's financials are maintained in an accurate and timely manner. 2. Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by reconciling balance sheet accounts and managing month-end closing activities. 3. Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product type, by customer etc. 4. Review rates of depreciation, labor and overhead and suggest policy changes to improve numbers and profitability. 5. Prepare financial statements and effectively utilize financial data to assess the profitability of business activities and future growth. 6. Handle foreign currency transactions and manage the risks associated with them. 7. Utilize Netsuite, SAP and other accounting software to streamline and automate financial processes. 8. Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems, alongside effective cash management. 9. Manage fixed assets and project accounting. 10. Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry. 3. Proficiency in accounting software such as Netsuite, SAP. 4. Strong knowledge of foreign currency transactions and the ability to manage associated risks. 5. Experience in project accounting, year-end close, managing fixed assets, and reconciling. 6. Solid understanding of A/R, ledger, and financial statements. 7. Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports. 8. Ability to accurately process numerical data. 9. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. 10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 11. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
