Valmar Holdings is looking for a Product Owner to play a crucial role in streamlining our loan management system development processes. The ideal candidate possesses a drive to learn and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable, and responsive solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Principal Responsibilities Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clear communication of requirements to the development team. Develop and maintain a well‑defined and comprehensive product backlog. Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including designers, developers, and quality assurance personnel to deliver high‑quality products. Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, answering questions and providing clarity on backlog items. Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring the team understands the scope and objectives of each sprint. Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery. Monitor and report on product performance and customer satisfaction. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Experience with product management tools such as Jira or Trello.
