It’s part of Aegon, an integrated, diversified, international financial services group serving approximately 23.9 million customers worldwide.* For more information, visit transamerica.com.  Job Description SummaryServe as the leader for Transamerica Model Risk Management (MRM) Analytics & Reporting.Job Description ResponsibilitiesFunctional ownership of the MRM platform including data input, data integrity & completeness and platform-based reportingResponsible for supporting BU teams with respect to:MRM governance training, compliance, and reportingMRM Platform trainingModel Validation Cycle planning & reportingModel Risk analytics & reportingHelp design and prepare reporting materials for senior oversight committees and other stakeholders as neededAdminister, analyze, maintain and evolve MRM’s model risk scoring system/processSupport the model validation team with analytics & reporting as neededHelp manage relationships with key BU stakeholders to drive and embed an enhanced model risk cultureQualificationsBachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, finance, or relevant field10+ years of experience in model risk management or internal controls, or equivalent management experience in an operational role with strong knowledge of model risk management or internal controlsProgressive leadership experience in model risk management, internal controls, or relevant fieldExcellent oral/written communication skillsComfortable with data analytics and communicating with charts & graphsExperience with databases and SQL Experience with coding in Python, R or other statistical modeling languageAbility to work in a fast-paced organization and prioritize multiple initiativesStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred QualificationsMasters Degree in Business, Economics, or FinanceStrong knowledge and/or experience in the insurance or financial services industryWorking ConditionsThis is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Baltimore or Philadelphia). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this positionTravel as needed for internal meetings (<10%)CompensationThe salary for this position generally ranges between $170,000 - $200,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 25% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
