Position Overview MadaLuxe is seeking a responsible and data-driven Drop Ship Business Analyst to drive the operational and financial performance of the company's Drop Ship business. Reporting to The Director of Sales, this role will collaborate closely with Sales, Buying, Operations, Inventory Planning, and Retail Partners to ensure inventory is accurately represented online, orders flow efficiently, inventory is optimized, and sales opportunities are maximized. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve sales, inventory productivity, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Sales & Performance Analysis Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly Drop Ship sales performance across all retail partners. Analyze sales trends, conversion, sell-through, cancellations, returns, and inventory productivity. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve assortment performance. Develop recurring business performance dashboards and executive reporting. Track KPIs and recommend action plans to improve performance. Inventory Management Monitor inventory availability and in-stock rates. Identify inventory risks including oversells, low inventory, aging inventory, and assortment gaps. Recommend inventory allocation strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Retail Partner Support Serve as a primary analytical resource for Drop Ship retail partners. Monitor retailer scorecards and operational metrics. Support retailer assortment planning and seasonal launches. Assist with retailer requests including inventory updates, reporting, and troubleshooting. Operational Excellence Monitor order flow from order receipt through fulfillment. Identify operational bottlenecks affecting customer experience. Analyze cancellation rates and fulfillment performance. Partner with Operations and Customer Service to resolve recurring issues. Pricing & Margin Analysis Validate pricing accuracy across retail partners. Monitor promotional performance. Analyze gross margin performance. Identify pricing optimization opportunities while protecting brand positioning. Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain reports including: Daily sales reports Weekly business recaps Inventory reports Retail partner scorecards Sell-through analysis Margin analysis Assortment productivity Executive dashboards Forecast reporting Cross Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the following functions to ensure successful execution of the Drop Ship business: Sales Buying Planning Operations E-commerce Customer Service Retail Partners Brand Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured by: Drop Ship revenue growth Gross margin performance Inventory productivity Sell-through rate Inventory availability Order fulfillment accuracy Retailer scorecard performance Cancellation rate Return rate New SKU launch accuracy Reporting accuracy and timeliness Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Merchandising, or related field 2 - 5 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, merchandising, planning, inventory management, or business analytics Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience with luxury retail or off-price retail Experience supporting Drop Ship or Marketplace businesses Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, or PIM systems Experience working with EDI and Drop Ship fulfillment processes Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is: Curious and proactive in identifying business opportunities Comfortable working with large data sets Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger business picture Strong communicator who can translate data into actionable recommendations Collaborative and able to work effectively across multiple teams Passionate about luxury retail, inventory optimization, and e-commerce #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket
