Overview of the Program Bettendorf’s Mechanical Engineering Internship Program offers hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and debug custom robotic work cells and industrial automation systems. This program is ideal for individuals eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced, real-world environment where innovation and collaboration drive success. This position requires participation in our Immersion Day at our Cleveland, OH headquarters during one of your first few weeks. Lincoln Electric will provide and cover all travel arrangements and expenses. What You'll Work On Develop custom manufacturing equipmenttailored to specific customerrequirements. Design and implement robotic systemsfor customer applicationswith a focuson automation. Engineer robotic solutionstooptimizeinternal manufacturing processes. Conduct engineering analysis on mechanical designs to validate performance, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Basic Qualifications Pursuing orhavingachieved a bachelor's degree in engineering Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Anengineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial, or any related technologies Minimumoverall GPA of 3.0 Desire to work in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Familiarity with OSHA, SDS, and ANSI (RIA) safety standards Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
