About the Position

Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN licensed Certifications: CNA certified Must-Have: Acute care IV starts, feeding tubes, ostomies, wound care Description: This is a state-of-the-art, 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced debilitating effects of severe injury or illness. The rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment throughout the recovery journey. Customized, individualized rehabilitation is tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for its comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation program and its stroke and brain injury specialty programs. The unit features an 80-bed capacity with patient ratios of 1:6/7 for RNs and 1:10/12 for CNAs. Standard equipment includes lift equipment, with no vents available. The electronic health record system in use is EPIC. The patient population served is adults aged 18 and older. Successful candidates will demonstrate high accountability, be team players, patient-focused, and maintain a commitment to high customer service standards. Rehab experience is preferred, though not required. Common diagnoses and treatments include post-surgical care, stroke recovery, cardiac care, and hemodialysis.
