We have immediate openings in assembly in our manufacturing facility and are looking for hard working, dependable individuals who possess carpentry or mechanical skills to join our team. - Enforcing safety policies and giving safety presentations
- Coaching and performing quality product and process audits
- Observing and analyzing the trends and/or tendencies in your metrics in order to optimize your teams productivity and performance
- Implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principles
- Managing to a take time and identifying and eliminating process abnormalities
- Performing annual team member evaluations
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet for 8 - 10 hours at a time
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks using arms and hands).
- Must be able to work in a loud and fast paced environment, make good judgements, and provide assistance when necessary.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and understand written instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read and understand the U.S. measurement system to 1/32 of an inch
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Education & Work Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
