LOUIS, MO 63105# **Scheduled Hours**37.5# **Position Summary**Oversee the administration, coordination, and grant development support for research training programs, postdoctoral scholars, and early-stage investigators (ESIs). This position provides comprehensive administrative and programmatic management for institutional training grants, career development programs, and postdoctoral initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating trainee onboarding, managing program operations and compliance, supporting grant proposal development and reporting, organizing professional development activities, facilitating communications among faculty, trainees, and institutional offices, and ensuring the successful implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of high-quality research training and career development programs.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**Training/Career Development Proposal Development* Manage the development, review and submission of complex institutional training proposals (e.g. NIH T32, R25, D43) and early career investigator (ESI) grants and fellowships (e.g. F or K series).* Build, populate, and maintain institutional training data tables tracking student appointments, demographics, and faculty publications.* Conduct pre-award completeness reviews to cross-examine submission materials against federal compliance rules. Trainee and ESI Support* Serve as a primary point of contact for trainees, early career faculty, postdocs, training mentors, and program leadership.* Support trainee career development activities, mentorship programming, and Individual Development Plan (IDP) processes.* Connect trainees and ESI faculty to institutional resources and educational opportunities.* Assist in resolving trainee administrative, onboarding, or compliance issues.* Serve as the main liaison with the WashU Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. Data Management, Evaluation and Reporting* Maintain trainee databases and program tracking systems.* Monitor participation, outcomes, publications, career progression, and program metrics.* Generate reports for leadership, funders, accreditation, and institutional review.
