Centerpoint Health Versailles, formerly Bluegrass Community Hospital, is located in the heart of horse country. Our 25-bed facility proudly serves Woodford and Anderson Counties in Central Kentucky. Licensed as a critical access hospital, we offer a broad range of inpatient, surgical, emergency, and diagnostic services.

How you'll contribute

A Certified Surgical Technician (CST) who excels in this role:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs
• Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies to ensure patient safety
• Handle, label, and maintain specimens according to protocol
• Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and operating rooms following procedures

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Additional requirements include:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (or eligibility to obtain within a specified timeframe)
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
