Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Locum Opportunity – Texas

Dates: Jul 31, 2026 – Aug 3, 2026 (with potential for ongoing coverage) Location: Lubbock, TX Setting: Inpatient | Epic EMR | Trauma Level 2

Requirements:

• Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
• Active Texas License & DEA
• ACLS and BLS required
• PA candidates will not be considered
• Clean file required

Seeking an Acute Care NP for ICU coverage with day and night shifts available (6a–6p or 6p–6a). Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, running codes, ICU procedures, and coordinating patient care with hospital teams.

Preferred Experience:

• 1–2 years of Acute Care/ICU experience
• Neuro ICU experience is a plus
• Comfortable performing intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and related critical care procedures

This is an urgent need with the possibility of additional ongoing shifts for the right provider.
