- Perform thorough patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, working side by side with physicians or autonomously (according to your credentials)
- Educate patients and families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
- Prescribe medications and therapies in alignment with best practices
- Engage in follow-up care and chronic illness management for ongoing patient welfare
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive patient care
- Accurately document all patient encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
- A blend of sharp clinical skills and a nurturing approach
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, their families, and clinical cohorts
- Agility in fast-paced, patient-oriented settings
