Marketing Coordinator

Go Port is seeking a creative, analytical, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing & Technology team. This position offers an opportunity to apply marketing knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to digital marketing initiatives that directly support company growth. The Marketing Coordinator will support content creation, social media, digital advertising, SEO, campaign reporting, and market research. Working across multiple marketing channels, this individual will help create engaging customer experiences, improve campaign performance, and strengthen Go Port's presence in the cruise travel industry. We are looking for someone who combines creativity with analytical thinking, embraces emerging technologies, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments while continuously learning and contributing new ideas. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field. Strong written communication, grammar, proofreading, and copywriting skills. Foundational understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and customer conversion funnels. Familiarity with major social media platforms and the differences in their audiences and content formats. Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, content development, and productivity while critically evaluating outputs. Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, filtering, sorting, and basic reporting. Strong research, analytical thinking, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating marketing graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software. Experience editing short-form video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable tools. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital marketing platforms. Relevant internships, academic projects, freelance work, or independent marketing initiatives.
