The Manufacturing Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, and skilled trade positions. This role involves partnering with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure timely placement of quality talent to support production objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing and operations positions.
• Partner with plant leadership and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and workforce requirements.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, job fairs, and networking events.
• Screen resumes and conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
• Evaluate candidates based on technical skills, work history, attendance, safety awareness, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain an active pipeline of production, warehouse, maintenance, and skilled trades candidates.
• Extend offers and facilitate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding activities.
• Track recruiting metrics include time-to-fill, applicant flow, source effectiveness, and retention trends.
• Build relationships with local workforce development organizations, vocational schools, technical colleges, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity requirements.
• Support employee referral programs and recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Participate in hiring events, plant tours, open houses, and community recruiting activities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

Qualifications /Education:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent recruiting or talent acquisition experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience:
• Minimum 2-5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Previous experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, logistics, or skilled trades positions preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume hourly recruiting is highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and industrial workforce environments.
• Knowledge of recruiting strategies for hourly and skilled manufacturing positions.
• Ability to assess candidate qualifications, work ethic, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and online recruiting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Working Conditions:
• Combination of office and manufacturing plant environment.
• Frequent interaction with production leadership and employees.
• Occasional travel to job fairs, schools, community events, and other company locations.

Hours: Mon. – Fri. (Flexible Day shift - 8 hrs. a day)

Pay rate: Based on Experience level
