Soar provides interdisciplinary early intervention services for young children ages 2–6 with autism . Our care model incorporates the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a naturalistic, developmental approach. As an SLPA , you will deliver pediatric speech therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP, collaborating with OTs, BCBAs, and psychologists to build meaningful communication skills. Job Type: Full-time, on-site Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, depending on center availability Base Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00/year per year Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800, with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications What You’ll Do Deliver direct pediatric speech therapy sessions for children ages 2–6 following treatment plans created by supervising SLPs. Implement functional communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices, in an early intervention setting. Integrate speech and language goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed, play-based care model. Collaborate with RBTs, OTs, and other clinicians so communication goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day. Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy. Support children with autism through naturalistic, play-based communication interventions. Qualifications Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field meeting state requirements. Active state licensure or registration as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant ( SLPA ). Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Certification (C-SLPA) from ASHA Experience working with children preferred, and AAC experience is a plus. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a passion for pediatric speech therapy and interdisciplinary care.
