Industrial Material Handler

Job Description
Pay: $23.50/hr
Industrial Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to maneuver scrap metal throughout the facility
- Warehouse employees can be assigned many different tasks, including but not limited to metal sortation, torch cutting, shearing, and using power and hand tools .
- Operate and maintain a chopper machine
- Sort various types of metals (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in warehouse environment (dirt, loud noise, rain, sun)
- Must have at least 3 years of Forklift experience
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be comfortable working off ladders
- $23.50/hour starting with an additional raise within six months
- Union position (Kaiser medical)
- Yearly pay raise
- Pension
- Monday - Friday
- Day shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm
This position requires a background check and drug screening (We DON'T test for THC).
