Who You Are:

• You are a closer who treats "no" as the start of the conversation, not the end of it.
• You take pride in building your own pipeline and owning your book of business.
• You are a great communicator who makes people feel heard when they decide about their home.
• You believe feedback makes you better, and you act on it without getting defensive.
• You are flexible with your schedule and open to running estimate appointments on nights and weekends.
• You bring at least 2 years of direct-to-consumer sales experience, ideally in home services or home improvement.
• You bring a valid driver's license for travel across the St. Louis metro.

What You Will Do Each Day:

• Manage and execute a personal sales plan targeting $1.5M+ in your first full year with us. The right person sees that number as a floor, not a ceiling.
• Run on-site estimates at homes and businesses, assess scope, and deliver accurate proposals.
• Present proposals, handle objections, and move conversations to a clear decision.
• Build your own pipeline through networking, referrals, and community outreach.
• Convert company-provided leads into scheduled estimates and closed projects.
• Follow up promptly and keep customers informed from first contact through completion.
• Track all pipeline activity in the CRM and participate in weekly sales team meetings for coaching, accountability, and performance review.

This Job Is NOT For You If...

• You need a guaranteed calendar. We provide company-purchased leads, but winning reps prospect and work to build their own pipeline.
• You treat "no" as a closed door. The first objection is the beginning of the conversation, not the end of it. If you accept resistance at face value and move on, this role will frustrate you.
• You want a 9-to-5 with hard stops. Some quality appointments happen on a Tuesday evening or a Saturday morning. If your schedule isn't flexible, many customers will go with someone whose is.
• You let important conversations stay on the surface. The best moment in a sales appointment is when you ask the question no one else dares to ask. If budget discussions, hard truths, and direct questions make you uncomfortable, this isn't the right seat for you.
• You need someone looking over your shoulder to stay on track. This is a remote, field-based role. You manage your own calendar, your own pipeline, and your own follow-up. Self-direction isn't optional here.
• You're looking for a base salary with commission as a bonus. Our base exists to give you a foundation — not a comfort zone. The reps who thrive here are motivated by what they can earn, not by what's guaranteed.
• You're not open to being coached. We record pre-estimate calls and in-home appointments. Your sales manager will review them and give you direct, specific feedback. If that makes you uncomfortable, we're probably not the right team for you.
