Business Development Representative - Events & Partnerships

The Events BDR will own follow-up and pipeline creation from MeeBoss events & community driven leads, ensuring that every qualified contact receives timely, personalized, and context-aware outreach. Responsibilities Partner with our Director of Community before each event to understand the event narrative, target audience, key partners, sponsor context, and desired business outcomes/KPI's. Review and organize all event-generated leads, including attendee lists, business cards, sponsor contacts, partner introductions, LinkedIn connections, and post-event inbound interest. Segment event leads by type, such as founders, hiring managers, talent leaders, sponsors, partners, investors, and ecosystem contacts. Create personalized outreach based on how each lead was acquired and what was discussed at the event. Conduct timely post-event follow-up through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other approved channels. Qualify leads based on hiring needs, company stage, role urgency, partnership potential, sponsorship interest, and fit for MeeBoss. Maintain accurate CRM records, including lead source, event attended, conversation notes, follow-up status, next steps, and conversion outcomes. Work from event-specific playbooks and help improve those playbooks after each event. Track key conversion metrics, including leads contacted, response rate, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, companies activated, and closed outcomes. Coordinate with BD, marketing, partnerships, and event teams to ensure event momentum turns into measurable pipeline. Provide weekly updates on event lead progress, blockers, follow-up results, and recommended next steps.
