Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Flexible/PRN - Austin, TX Overview A flexible, part‑time position focusing on functional rehabilitation wherever life happens—at home, school, work, or in the community. Who we are looking for: An experienced COTA, seeking a primary treating therapist role (10‑20 hrs/week) Providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community Treat your client beyond a staged environment into real life experiences like cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace You thrive in an autonomous setting, and value being a part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists What you will receive: Flexible Schedule Created by You Paid per hour (not just per visit) In‑Person, 1:1 therapy with indirect services from home (documentation/communication) Continuity of Care Model Team collaboration & Co‑Treats Drive Time reimbursed at your clinical rate + Mileage Reimbursement No weekend shifts Educational Program Access Growth/Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques Current CPR certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Rehab Without Walls® Neuro Rehabilitation
