Are you an experienced water mitigation professional ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? BBSI is partnering with an established San Diego construction and restoration company, to find a skilled and dependable Mitigation Supervisor to lead its Emergency Mitigation Services (EMS) team.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing restoration projects, mentoring technicians, and staying involved in daily field operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

·         Lead, supervise, and support a team of 4-5 mitigation technicians and general labor crew members.

·         Oversee water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation, and emergency restoration projects.

·         Conduct site inspections, assess damage, and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials.

·         Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality workmanship, productivity, and deadlines.

·         Monitor moisture readings, drying equipment, and mitigation procedures.

·         Train and mentor technicians while promoting teamwork, safety, and accountability.

·         Ensure accurate daily reports, job photos, equipment logs, and project documentation.

·         Communicate project updates with customers, project managers, and office personnel.

·         Maintain safe, organized job sites and ensure compliance with industry standards.

·         Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

·         5+ years of experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or emergency mitigation.

·         Previous supervisory, crew leadership, or lead technician experience preferred.

·         Strong knowledge of structural drying, water extraction, moisture monitoring, and mitigation equipment.

·         Experience with demolition, containment, and remediation procedures.

·         Ability to oversee large projects or coordinate multiple job sites.

·         Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·         Comfortable using mobile apps or project management software for documentation.

·         IICRC WRT certification preferred; ASD or AMRT certifications a plus.

·         Valid driver's license when operating company vehicles.

·         Flexibility for emergency calls, evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments.
