Position: Commercial Insurance Associate
\nLocation: New York, NY
\nSalary: $70k – $90k + Bonus
\n \nGrowing NYC based Commercial Real Estate Group seeks a Commercial Insurance Associate to join their Team!
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Manage insurance requirements for commercial tenants across a diverse property portfolio \n
- Ensure tenants maintain required insurance coverage, monitoring policy compliance, and collaborating with property management, legal teams, brokers, and tenants to minimize risk exposure \n
- Review and track tenant insurance certificates and policy documentation \n
- Ensure compliance with lease insurance requirements and company standards \n
- Communicate directly with tenants, insurance brokers, and property managers regarding deficiencies and renewals \n
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and complete records \n
- Monitor expiration dates and follow up on outstanding insurance requirements \n
- Assist with risk management initiatives and audits \n
- Interpret lease language related to insurance obligations \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- 3+ years of experience in insurance, compliance, and risk management in commercial real estate \n
- Familiar with commercial insurance policies and certificates of insurance (COIs) \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and compliance tracking systems - MRI and SiteCompli \n
