Vice President, Strategic Sales - East (Remote)

About The Role We are seeking to hire a Vice President of Field Sales, who will oversee our Strategics segment. This position reports to senior leadership and will manage a team of Regional Senior Sales Directors in the East Region, driving initiatives and achieving company sales targets. What You'll Do Provide management oversight to your team to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment. Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis. Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your Region. Plan and direct activities, including forecasting, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction, and collateral material development and distribution. Establish short‑term and long‑term goals and quotas in line with objectives. Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for senior management review. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met. Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes that may impact expected business results. What You'll Need 5+ years of experience leading senior sales teams with a complex product and solution sales approach. Ability to sell via direct touch approach and through the channel. Proven track record in working with multimillion‑dollar targets. Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle and experience at C‑Level. Background in selling Security or SaaS products is a plus. Technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus. Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Second‑line management experience essential. Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills. Passionate relationship building and negotiating skills. Ability to collaborate with functional peers across Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development. Strong understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive marketplace offerings. Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. Aptitude for understanding how technology products solve business problems. Experience leading multiple teams in various locations and exceeding assigned sales quotas. Experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams. Experience developing budgets and predicting project costs. Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude. Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel. Management Skills Uses management and technical skills to develop, modify, and execute company policies that affect operations. Implements strategic policies and establishes budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Acts as an advisor or subject‑matter expert. Sets revenue targets and ensures targets are met. Hires, trains, and manages a team of highly motivated senior sales professionals. Ensures the team hits all metrics and quotas across regions. Forecasts team revenue numbers accurately. Prepares and executes a thorough business plan. Reports on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management. Compensation CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair compensation practices. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $200,000 – $340,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The final salary is determined by relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location.
