What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients' functional status using formal and informal assessments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with physician directives
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, prognosis, and treatment options
- Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
- Document all interventions accurately for billing and regulatory compliance
- Consult with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote best practices
- Recommend adaptive equipment and assist in procuring necessary devices
- Participate in team conferences, community outreach, and professional development activities
What You Need
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
