What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients' neurological, skeletal, respiratory, and cardiovascular status through formal/informal tests
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance
- Implement and adjust treatment regimens in coordination with physicians
- Educate patients and families on pathology, prognosis, and treatment strategies
- Provide supervision to PT Assistants and Aides
- Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment for patient needs
- Document treatment progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Promote physical therapy services within the community and participate in team meetings
- Function as a case manager for assigned patients
What You Need
- Valid Michigan license as a Physical Therapist
- Prior outpatient therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality
