Social Media Manager (SF/LA/NYC)

Role We're looking for a Social Media Manager who combines deep platform expertise with strong strategic instincts and a proven ability to build and grow brand presence. This role is both creative and operational: you will own the social media vision for Gantri, concepting, producing, and publishing content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — while also leading cross-functional collaboration and shaping our long-term channel strategy. This role is ideal for someone mid-career who has scaled social presence for a brand and understands how to translate design-driven aesthetics into native platform storytelling. This person will be responsible for driving social media growth independently—from strategy and content development to execution and optimization. What You'll Do Own and drive the social media strategy across Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Lead content conceptualizations and production — shooting, editing, and publishing high-quality short-form video independently Set the creative direction for the channel, maintaining a consistent, premium visual and tonal point of view Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, audio, and best practices — and translate them into on-brand executions Build and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent publishing cadence and campaign alignment Lead community management strategy and own brand voice in social engagement Own performance reporting — tracking views, engagement, saves, shares — and use data to iterate and improve Partner closely with brand, design, and marketing teams to lead social support for product launches and campaigns Required Experience 4–7 years of experience creating and leading social media content for brands or agencies Demonstrated track record of growing social audiences and driving engagement for a lifestyle, design, or consumer brand Deep expertise in Instagram and TikTok, with strong instincts for what performs natively on each platform Advanced video editing and production skills; proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent tools Strong visual taste with a refined eye for composition, lighting, pacing, and brand consistency Experience owning content strategy end-to-end, from ideation through performance analysis Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence creative direction Excellent written communication skills for captions, briefs, and internal stakeholder updates Preferred Experience Photography or videography background with a professional portfolio Experience working with premium design, home decor, interiors, or lifestyle brands Proficiency with social analytics platforms (Sprout Social, Later, native insights tools, etc.) Experience managing or mentoring junior creatives or content producers Why Gantri?
