Python Developer

Payrate: $53.00 - $54.00/hr.


Summary
The role involves triaging and resolving support tickets according to the Service Level Agreement, addressing critical application and technical issues, and ensuring application availability and performance. The candidate will also develop scripts and automation tools, as well as monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect application issues.


Responsibilities

• Triage & resolve support tickets as per the defined Service Level Agreement.
• Identify and resolve critical application/technical problems, including off-shift and weekend support.
• Investigate tickets, perform statistical analyses, and test and analyze application failures.
• Proactively identify and manage issue resolutions, document, and provide follow-up on the resolution process.
• Monitor application availability and performance.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to detect and correct application issues.
• Develop monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect application issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience in application support, or a technical certification with 6 years of experience.
• Experience with relational databases support, querying, and database reporting, preferably with Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Lambda, and others.
• Experience troubleshooting issues related to UI, API, and data flow.
• Expertise with high availability architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Thousand Eyes, AppDynamics, Grafana, etc.
• Background in data management, data engineering, or data operations, and familiarity with the ADO pipeline framework.
• Experience with Python or related scripting languages for automation needs.
• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve application availability and performance.

Skills

• Working experience with programming languages: Python, PowerShell, SQL, and JSON.
• Working knowledge of deploying autoscaling features.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $53.00 - $54.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
