Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2540 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Centra Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital and charge experience preferred.

Special Requests: - Unit cannot accommodate or offer a block schedule. Must be flexible to work the schedule needs of the unit.

Unit Details: - Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU). - Charge responsibilities are required in this unit; training provided. - Teaching-hospital environment with frequent interaction with students and new hires.

Shift & Scheduling: - Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day). - 2/3 weekends per month based on unit need.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
