Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU travel position in Wichita, KS, requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Medical ICU setting at an acute care hospital in Wichita, KS
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting via Cerner OneChart

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required (online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed at orientation)
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage commitment required: July 4th and Labor Day
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
