Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Boone, NC. This role is responsible for leading daily store operations, including supervising team members, driving sales, overseeing merchandising, and ensuring a clean, organized retail environment. The manager will focus on delivering consistent, high-quality customer service, managing staffing and scheduling, and coaching team members to meet performance goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring inventory, implementing retail loss prevention measures, tracking key performance indicators, and supporting omni-channel initiatives such as in-store pickup and digital orders. The Retail Store Manager will also uphold Hibbett’s brand standards and foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service. Effective interpersonal abilities, including clear Communication and team leadership. Experience with Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and sales floor oversight. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and procedures. Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in fashion, footwear, or sporting goods. Ability to analyze sales data, manage inventory, and meet performance targets. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
