Responsibilities Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation Sales and inventory management Employee staffing, training, and development Financial management Customer service leadership The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store including: Lead others and work effectively with store crews Supervise, assign and direct activities of the store’s crew Effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank) Essential Functions Management: Lead others and work effectively with store crews; supervise, assign and direct crew activities; communicate information to crew and supervisors; support operational and service improvement efforts. Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote a customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers. Required Qualifications Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills. Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills. Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts; work overtime as needed; respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a retail manager or supervisor. Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 hours Time Type Full time Pay Range $22.13 – $36.13 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary). The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
