Security Automation Engineer

Seeking a skilled Security Automation Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on engineering the Barracuda XDR SOAR platform, conducting R&D on emerging technologies, and executing offensive security operations to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. Key responsibilities Engineering the Barracuda XDR SOAR solution and integrating various APIs into the SOC tech stack Conducting proactive threat hunting and executing attack/defend activities to validate detection effectiveness Developing and maintaining documentation on processes, tools, and ongoing R&D efforts Required qualifications 4-5 years of prior cybersecurity or SOC experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field Relevant certifications such as CIH, CEH, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ Experience with SOC tools including SIEM, SOAR, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Hands-on experience with AI systems and integrating AI into security operations
