Tremendous company in Lincolnshire is looking for a Temp Collections Specialist. This will be approximately a one-year contract . Potential for candidate to become Permanent once contract ends.
Starting pay approximately $28-$30/hr .
This will be a Full-Time position that is in-office Monday through Thursdays, with work from home on Fridays. Could become more hybrid/remote once candidate is all settled in.
Absolutely MUST have experience with VLOOKUP & strong experience with heavy Credit Collections to be considered. MUST have experience with credits for large accounts that deal with millions of $.
A Temporary Collections Specialist will be responsible for proactively following up on past-due invoices, maintaining AR aging reports, and resolving customer payment issues, including short payments and deductions. The role will involve coordinating with Sales and Customer Service to address disputes, documenting all collection activities in SAP or the AR system, and providing regular updates on high-risk accounts.
The ideal candidate should have collection experience with credits, strong communication and follow-up skills, and the ability to work independently with a high level of accountability. They should also be comfortable managing account reconciliations and high-volume portfolios, must have proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and SAP preferred.
