Responsibilities CT Procedures & Imaging
Schedule
- 24-36 hours per week based on operational needs
- Weekend and overnight shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- One weekday shift may be required depending on department needs
- ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Responsibilities CT Procedures & Imaging
- Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations.
- Conduct a variety of CT procedures, including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing.
- Produce CT scans for diagnostic interpretation.
- Operate CT equipment and select appropriate technical factors, positioning, and safety devices.
- Ensure proper identification on all images, including patient demographics, 100% of the time.
- Document all related imaging and procedural data.
- Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and self.
- Maintain integrity and security of radiology information systems.
- Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams, including records, images, and demographics.
- Resolve and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Computed Tomography (CT) certification from ARRT or NMTCB.
- Experience with CT imaging.
- Intermediate knowledge of PACS.
- Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
