CT Technologist

Job Summary This role performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures. Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations. Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post‑processing. Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation. Operate CT equipment and select technical factors and positioning/safety devices. Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time. Document all related data. Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self. Other responsibilities. Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics. Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems. Resolve and elevate complex issues. Subject to on‑call status including weekends and holidays. Hours per Week 24–36 hours, based on operational needs Shift Weekends and overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). One weekday shift may also be required based on departmental needs. Required Skills & Experience Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging. Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems. Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills. Strong organizational skills. Preferred Skills & Experience N/A Required Education High school diploma or GED. Preferred Education N/A Required Certifications & Licensure Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); OR Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
