Marketing Winning Work Graduate Coordinator Our Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) team supports Arup to build and protect our reputation, deepen client relationships, win quality work and attract top talent. The Graduate Coordinator will strengthen MCBD by providing operational and proposal support across the pursuit and bid lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business priorities and established winning work practices. The Opportunity The Graduate Coordinator works closely with bid directors, bid managers and technical teams to support pursuit planning, proposal development and interview preparation, contributing to high‑quality client submissions and supporting Arup’s value proposition, services and client relationships. Key Responsibilities Work with Bid Directors and Bid Managers throughout all stages of the pursuits process. Support bid coordination to deliver compelling, client‑focused submissions. Liaise with technical teams, schedulers, project managers and other contributors to ensure timely receipt of information required to meet internal and external deadlines. Coordinate content for Arup’s bid and pitch documents. Capture project win nuggets to share internally and collaborate with the broader MCBD team to promote new project wins internally and externally, as appropriate. CRM and Systems Use CRM and bid systems throughout the bid lifecycle, supporting data integrity and pipeline reporting. Be knowledgeable in best practice tools, templates and resources to support effective pursuits and bidding. Update bid data in bid sites, SharePoint databases and CRM. Market and Client Focus Support client‑facing activities including research to support positioning activities and providing input on presentations and interview preparation. Requirements Qualifications and Accreditations Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Development or another relevant field. APMP certification is desirable. Knowledge and Experience Experience of bid delivery at a local office geography scale (preferred but not required). Experience working within a marketing team is a plus. Strong writing, editing and graphic layout skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with marketing technologies such as CRM. Experience working with brand guidelines. Skills and Attributes Good communication and interpersonal skills. Awareness of marketing and communications related technologies. Strong time management skills. Maintains collaborative working relationships with peers. High level of personal integrity and professionalism, aligned with our humane organisation values. Hiring Range – The base salary for this role in San Francisco is $70,000 to $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
