Orthodontic Assistant

Tyska Alexander Orthodontics is looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant that is highly professional to fill a full time position with our practice.
An Orthodontic Assistant must have a positive attitude, excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, parents and other staff members. The Assistant should have excellent attention to detail and be committed to outstanding patient care, and dedicated to working well with other team members.
Specific Responsibilities are as follows:
• Mastery with Itero Digital Scanner
• Panoramic and Cephalometric x-rays
• Placing and removing arch wires
• Charting
• Patient Education
• Placement and removal of ties, chains and metal ligatures
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, doctors and team members
• Cloud 9 software or comparable
• Cross train in Lab
We offer an excellent benefits package including 6 paid holidays, 1 week of paid vacation following 6 months with the practice, profit sharing and 401k.
