As a Travel Periodontal Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the periodontist to ensure efficient clinical operations and provide an outstanding patient experience throughout every stage of treatment. Schedule (days/hours) Monday - Thursday 8-5 Responsibilities Assist the periodontist during periodontal procedures and surgeries Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records, as permitted by state regulations Educate patients on periodontal procedures and post-operative care Travel between assigned practice locations as needed Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient Qualifications Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation $28-$30/hour About Us paid time off (“PTO”) health dental vision health savings account telemedicine flexible spending accounts life insurance disability insurance employee discount programs pet insurance a 401k plan Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
